Stefanie Tovar

Stefanie Tovar is a Yoga Facilitator, Recording Artist, and Founder and CEO of nonprofit organization, Hanuman Homies.  

Stefanie has facilitated yoga for over 12 years and brings with her about 20 years of teaching other modalities of movement to Include Dance and Fitness methods. Stefanie is also the only facilitator in Dallas Fort Worth that facilitates the Physical Yoga practice alongside Yoga of Sound, Bhakti (“bahkti”) Yoga.  Stefanie plays live music and sings in every class! Her Debut EP Album, Shine a Light charted the Billboards in New Age Music and she looks forward to recording a single soon to offer more support to people through Healing Arts. 

Stefanie has been invited to present at SXSW(South by Southwest) three consecutive years ranging from serving on a panel to discuss challenges and triumphs of leading start up non profit entities in addition to leading Wellness Sessions at the Conference to Celebrate Innovation, Creativity and Self Care. Stefanie has also presented at Sedona Yoga Festival, Cosmic Yogi Festival, Holistic Festival of Life including many more festivals and has presented in support of Family Gateway, Faith and Grief Ministries, Dallas Truth Racial Healing and Transformation, Cara Mia Theatre and regularly at Klyde Warren Park. 

Stefanie founded Hanuman Homies in 2017 with the support of a grant offered by lululemon as their lululemon ambassador.  In addition to leading a movement to support Yoga in Schools and Yoga for Youth, Hanuman Homies was Recognized at the Best Underdog NonProfit in 2019 by the Dallas Observer. 

Stefanie looks forward to more opportunities to lead unique practices in support of Community, Creativity, and Collaboration.
